I hope everyone had a very enjoyable easter. I know I did. My husband & I took our 3 year old daughter & our dog camping in Milang on Lake Alexandrina. It was good to see the water starting to flow back into the lake after all this time & hopefully next time we visit we will be able to go sailing on the lake again.
Camping was an effort in itself this easter. Firstly I forgot some very vital supplies that are required for Easter Sunday but that was easily fixed with a trip to Woolies on Saturday along with the purchase of a kettle as even though I had packed the tea, coffee & milk I had forgotten something to boil water in. The second thing was convincing our 3 year old princess Amelia that you don't wear twirly dresses camping. Once we convinced her that you wear pants & sneakers or gum boots it was away we go.
We had a couple of fun filled days walking around Milang hunting for bargains at the Trash & Treasure sales (although I could not for the life of me find a saucepan or old kettle), dinner at the Milang Sailing Club & finding the Easter Bunny before the Swamp Monster stole the eggs. Swampy was then pelted with flour bombs to keep him away.
In between our camping adventure I have managed to finish a couple more dresses which will be available at the Mum's & Bub's market in May. I hope to see you all there
